How Much is This Mouse?

If not mistaken, I saw this kind of old fashion mouse at IT store before and it costs around RM10 and not more than that. Since I know the price then why I ask this question? Let me do some explanations here...

Yesterday was my last day at my ex-company, after I did the handover and exit clearance checklist then I left the company. Not long after I stepped out from the office, the boss called me twice. I didn't manage to pick up his call so I returned call to him and asked him why because I thought that I have missed out something important... Who knows he only asked me about the old mouse which he gave me together with the laptop when I join the company. Actually that old mouse got some problems or maybe I can said it was spoiled. Our system support is so kind to me, she has exchanged my old mouse with her own mouse... After few months I also forget about this and yet the boss still remember and purposely called me to ask back the spoiled mouse.

Oh no, what kind of boss is this! Can you imagine what is your future if you work under his leadership? Do you think his eye sight is far enough to lead the staff and the company to a higher level? Seriously, I don't think so...

Hard to Say Goodbye...

Time flies, the long waited moments is finally come. I'm going to make a step forward today... I'm glad that I can leave this place soon and get rid of some peoples here, but it just make me feel so heavy to leave my 2 buddies behind...

Bernice, Sumie and I, we are good buddies. Even though we only know each other for 6 months, we have developed good relationship. We help each other, cover each other, encourage each other, teasing each other... We work together, learn together, eat together, laugh together... Three of us are PIC, not person in charge, our PIC means Partner In Crime! Haha...

Dear friends, glad to have you as my colleague for the past 6 months. Trust me, you will always in my memory...

I Love You, My Dear!

It was raining just now when I driving home. I received a call from my hubby when I about to reach home. He asked me where am I because he knows that I forgot to bring umbrella today and he wants to bring down the umbrella for me. I felt so touching... How caring is he!

When I reached home, he gave me a big surprise by giving me a paper bag with a box inside. I took it out and found that it was a new hand phone! The new hand phone even with 2GB memory card inside!

Actually my previous hand phone was spoiled about 2 months ago... So I'm using my mom's old phone currently. That old phone got problems too, but at least it allows me to make and to receive calls, to send and to receive sms, so I still continue using it.

My hubby always asked me to buy a new one but I was so stubborn and keep on rejecting. Finally, he takes the initiative to buy it for me as a surprise. I like it so much! And I just can't wait to tell him how much I love him! Thank you my dear for everything that you've done for me!

My Office @ Cyberjaya

My company has moved to Cyberjaya since August. Let me show some pictures of my office surroundings here...

The building outlook

Free parking space

A small garden in between Block A , Block B & Block C

The toilet is at the end of the corridor

There are some pros and cons to work at this place. I can wake up a bit late nowadays because it's quite convenient for me to travel from my house to office, no passing tolls and the traffic is consider smooth. Besides, we no need to pay for the parking here. It's actually an ideal place to work if I only station at office. However, I'm a sales person, it's quite far for me to travel to customer's place, I also cannot meet up with my friend for lunch freely. Moreover, it's difficult for us to find Chinese food here...

Anyway, I'm going to leave this place soon. If some of you who wonder why I quit job again, you may read my previous "Lousy Boss" post and you'll find the answer there. Other than that, I actually have nothing much to do since I join. The pressure of getting paid by doing nothing is much more greater than the pressure of being chase sales by the superior.

Goodbye, Cyberjaya!

Sandals

Daddy, Mummy & Ezra's Sandals

Ezra is 13 months now. Finally he knows how to walk. This is his first sandals and we hope that he can learn to stand firmly and walk firmly with this sandals.

Why we bought the same sandals? It's so simple, because we are in one family! We want to walk together wherever we go, through good days and even bad days... Of course the most important is to follow God's path.

My little Ezra, glad to have you in our family!

Swimming Day

Last Saturday before church camp was a sunny day. We invited Wendy, Joie and Chloe to come over to our apartment to swim with Ezra, so that the little ones can warm up and can play in the pool with other children during church camp.

Three of them enjoyed very much playing in the pool. Looking forward to next swimming day!

Happy Birthday to Ezra

Time flies, everything just like happened not long ago, and now, my baby boy is one-year-old!

Because of Ezra's great grandma went for cataract surgery on 22/8/08, so we celebrated the 1st birthday for Ezra 1 week earlier at Teow Chew Restaurant. We booked 4 tables and invited our direct family (Lee & Lai family) to attend the dinner.

As for birthday cake, we want to buy something that Ezra like and finally we decided to buy him a football cake. Why? Because Ezra likes to play ball. The first word that he can pronounce correctly is "ball".

Actually I like this cake too! Thanks for Gu Poh's contribution!

Last but not least, thanks for the big "ang pou" and also the birthday presents from all of you!

Smile

How sweet is the smile of the little one! They are so pure and innocent, they only smile when they feel happy, and that’s why their smile is so real.

Sometimes, after a tiring working day, when you reach home and see your little one greet you by door with a smile on his face, all your tiredness, unhappiness and stress will just gone away!

Thank you, my little darling, your smile has brightened my life!

Lousy Boss

Everybody can be a boss but not everybody knows how to be a boss. I have come across some bosses that don’t really know how to be a boss.

These bosses don’t have clear direction, thousand minds, keep information secretive, fussy over small matters, always last minutes, not punctual to appointment, no confident, stingy and etc. They tend to be very friendly to you before you join and they even promise heaven and earth to you but after you join them will be a different story. The worst part is, they will just simply use their authority as a boss to instruct the staff to do somethings that are beyond their job function.

Over the years, I used to work under few lady bosses. I thought that lady boss is difficult to deal with because they are fussy, moody and calculative. Until recently then only I discovered, sometimes a male boss can be even worst than a lady boss.

We cannot choose the boss but we can choose the company. My advice for the youngster is, don’t ever go for those small company especially those “China man” company that are running like family business, because your future is not guarantee! They will only treat you as “family member” when they need you to contribute, however, the benefits will always go to the “real” family member. Think wise, act wise!

Ezra @ Old Town White Coffee House

Last Saturday, after having our dinner at Pr Mike's father stall, my parents would like to try the foot massage at Taman Connaught. It's so cheap, only RM19.90 for 1 hour! While waiting, Edmund, Ezra and I went to Old Town to have a drink. Here are some of the pictures taken by my handphone at Old Town.

Hmm... Let me place an order first...

Show some cool expression while waiting for my food

Hey, my food is coming! I want my toasted bread!

This little boy loves to eat very much, he keeps on saying "ba ba" until we finish the food. For your information, Ezra will says "ba ba" when he sees the food. As parents, sometimes we may need to learn the little one's language as well. So, now we know that his "ba ba" is actually refer to food but not "father".

The Potential & Talented Makeup Artist

I was so lucky to have such a potential & talented makeup artist to do makeup & hair for me on my brother's wedding ceremony and also the wedding dinner.

At first, I look around for the experienced makeup artist, but their charges is comparably high and over my budget. Then Wai Chi suddenly come into my mind, why not I just try out Wai Chi? Even though she is new, but no harm to give her a chance. So I just give her a call to book her as my makeup artist.

The bible says, "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believer in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12

Honestly, I was so happy with her makeup & hairdo. Thanks Wai Chi, you make me look gorgeous that day!

Youngest Pilot

He... He... I am the youngest pilot

Look to left... Look to right... Mama said must drive carefully

Annoying People

Why there are such annoying people exist in my life? They claimed that they are Christian but never go to church, curse people and criticize people but never reflect on their own lives. We saw their friends turn to their enemies one by one, we are so sure that this will happen to us sooner or later and finally, it happened to us.

When quarreling, especially when both side is on fire, both side also need to pay responsible for that. How can they push all the responsibilities to other? When they said people mad, did they ever think of who start the quarrel? Who shout at people first?

Anyway, we should put a full stop here. Please stop disturbing our lives by sending those annoying sms or email to us! I prayed for God forgiveness for what I have done wrongly, and God, please give me strength to forgive those annoying people as God has forgiven me.

Future Pianist

I found that Ezra likes music very much. I don’t know whether this is heredity from his father or maybe because of his mother went for piano class during pregnancy.

Every time when he cry, we on the music for him or sing to him then he will calm down a bit. Recently, my parents in law bought “The Sound of Music” for him to watch and he like it very much, he watch it few times a day! When his father playing guitar during cell group meeting, he sit still and keep on looking at his father.

I still remember when Ezra is one month plus, someone prayed for him and prophesy that he can play music when he is 3 years old. I don’t how true is this but I definitely will send him to learn music when he is ready. I really hope that he can serve God with music when he grows up.

Rhinotillexomania Tag

Wow, what a complicated tag! For those who don't know what is rhinotillexomania, rhinotillexomania is actually refer to nose-picking (rhino=nose, tillexis=habit of picking at something, mania=obsession with something).

Have you ever picked your nose?
Yes, of course.

Do you think that nose-picking is common in adults?
Yes.

How often do you pick your nose? (daily, weekly, monthly)
Daily.

How much time do you spend nose-picking?
Huh? Don't really count the time...

Why do you do it (Unclog the nasal passages, to relieve discomfort or itchiness, to avoid the unsightly appearance of a hanging from my nose, personal hygiene, out of habit)?
All the reason above unless habit.

Which finger do you use?
Pointer

How do you dispose of the goop? (tissue, hanky, floor, stuck it to furniture, eat)
Tissue or wash away by water because I normally do that in toilet.

Ezra don't like people to clean his nose. So I normally clean his nose when I feed him milk or when he's sleeping.

By the way, how to clean baby's nose? I tried this before and I felt that it's quite safe and effective... Use a cotton bud or fold a tissue paper into a little triangle, wet it with warm water and gently swirl it around the nostril, then the boogies will come out easily.

Edmund vs Ezra

Are they look alike? Can you recognize which is Edmund & which is Ezra? For me, I think both of them are 99% look alike. Too bad, my son doesn't look like me at all :(. But anyway, thank God for giving me such a cute husband and a cute baby :).

Shy Shy

I like this picture very much. It was taken when Ezra is around 10 days old. We exposed him to the morning sun because his skin is a bit yellowish. Before we cover his eyes with handkerchief, he quickly covered his eyes with his little hands. So cute…

My Greatest Achievement

On 23rd August 2007, I gave birth to a baby boy, we named him Ezra Lee Tian Hao.

I still remember that day around 6a.m in the morning, I prepared to admit to hospital because I saw the “symptom” of giving birth. After I settled down at Pudu Specialist, my parents in law came to visit me to give me support.

How happy they are going to be promoted to grandpa and grandma.

Around 9a.m., I followed the nurse to the labor room. There is another lady going to give birth too.

After I entered the labor room, I laid on the bed and I can feel the contraction getting stronger and stronger. I keep on praying to God, “please help me, please don’t let me suffer so long, please let the baby come out as soon as possible.”

I got my hubby accompany me in the labor room to give me support.

On and on, the midwife came to check the heart beat of the baby. After 3 hours, she came to check me again and she said I’m ready to push out the baby now. But then, the other lady at the next room also ready at the same time. So the midwife and gynea walk here and there to look after both of us. However, my contractions suddenly stop. If no contraction, I will not able to push out the baby. So I just relax and wait for the contraction to come again. I can hear clearly that the lady at next room shout very loud and finally her baby girl is born. I was so happy for her when I hear the baby cry.

After that, the gynea came to me and helps me to deliver the baby. Because of the baby’s head is not in the right position, the gynea decided to help me by using vacuum. Finally, at 12:55p.m., my baby came to this world. I was relieved when I hear my baby cry. Thank God that giving birth is actually not so pain as what I imagine.

After cleaning the baby, the nurse sent him to the baby room. Of course his father took this opportunity to snap some pictures of our new born baby.

The baby was placed in the baby room together with his “girl friend”. I don’t have chance to carry him until I went in to breast feed him.

This is the greatest achievement in my life.

My Testimony

Back to year 2006, Edmund and I get married and we plan to have baby two years later. However, in the same year, God has blessed our family a precious Christmas present. I found that I was pregnant on Christmas day, so I went to see Gynea the next day for check up.
Besides confirmed the good news to me, the Gynea told me a bad news that there is a 6cm cyst on my left ovary. According to the Gynea, I was so lucky because it’s normally difficult to conceive under this condition and pregnant can actually helps to stop the cyst from growing bigger. Therefore, both of us were thankful for the baby even though it was not under our plan.

Thank God for His blessing and protection during my pregnancy. By the grace of God, I can eat well, sleep well, no vomit, not getting tired easily and can work like normal. During that period, we always pray for our baby and also pray for healing.

When come to the final stage where I have to choose in between natural birth or caesarean birth, I was so struggled because if I choose caesarean birth, the cyst can be removed at the same time, but how if God has answered my prayer? So I seek for the Gynea’s advice, I asked him, “if there any possibility that the cyst will disappear after I give birth?” He answered, very unlikely because the cyst is considered big and he can’t scan for me at the moment since my tummy is big and the baby inside has blocked the view. After seeking advice from friends and family members too, I finally decided to choose natural birth by faith.

On 23rd August 2007, after 3 hours of labour pain, my son Ezra is born. We thank God for this healthy baby and smooth delivery.

After 3 months, I went back to see gynea for check up. Praise the Lord! My cyst was disappeared! Thank God for healing me and I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who has ever pray for me.

In conclusion, God will always have some greater plan in our lives. Therefore, what we have to do is just commit our lives to Him. Let’s give all the glory to our God!
