Future Pianist

I found that Ezra likes music very much. I don’t know whether this is heredity from his father or maybe because of his mother went for piano class during pregnancy.

Every time when he cry, we on the music for him or sing to him then he will calm down a bit. Recently, my parents in law bought “The Sound of Music” for him to watch and he like it very much, he watch it few times a day! When his father playing guitar during cell group meeting, he sit still and keep on looking at his father.

I still remember when Ezra is one month plus, someone prayed for him and prophesy that he can play music when he is 3 years old. I don’t how true is this but I definitely will send him to learn music when he is ready. I really hope that he can serve God with music when he grows up.

Rhinotillexomania Tag

Wow, what a complicated tag! For those who don't know what is rhinotillexomania, rhinotillexomania is actually refer to nose-picking (rhino=nose, tillexis=habit of picking at something, mania=obsession with something).

Have you ever picked your nose?
Yes, of course.

Do you think that nose-picking is common in adults?
Yes.

How often do you pick your nose? (daily, weekly, monthly)
Daily.

How much time do you spend nose-picking?
Huh? Don't really count the time...

Why do you do it (Unclog the nasal passages, to relieve discomfort or itchiness, to avoid the unsightly appearance of a hanging from my nose, personal hygiene, out of habit)?
All the reason above unless habit.

Which finger do you use?
Pointer

How do you dispose of the goop? (tissue, hanky, floor, stuck it to furniture, eat)
Tissue or wash away by water because I normally do that in toilet.

Ezra don't like people to clean his nose. So I normally clean his nose when I feed him milk or when he's sleeping.

By the way, how to clean baby's nose? I tried this before and I felt that it's quite safe and effective... Use a cotton bud or fold a tissue paper into a little triangle, wet it with warm water and gently swirl it around the nostril, then the boogies will come out easily.

Edmund vs Ezra

Are they look alike? Can you recognize which is Edmund & which is Ezra? For me, I think both of them are 99% look alike. Too bad, my son doesn't look like me at all :(. But anyway, thank God for giving me such a cute husband and a cute baby :).

Shy Shy

I like this picture very much. It was taken when Ezra is around 10 days old. We exposed him to the morning sun because his skin is a bit yellowish. Before we cover his eyes with handkerchief, he quickly covered his eyes with his little hands. So cute…

My Greatest Achievement

On 23rd August 2007, I gave birth to a baby boy, we named him Ezra Lee Tian Hao.

I still remember that day around 6a.m in the morning, I prepared to admit to hospital because I saw the “symptom” of giving birth. After I settled down at Pudu Specialist, my parents in law came to visit me to give me support.

How happy they are going to be promoted to grandpa and grandma.

Around 9a.m., I followed the nurse to the labor room. There is another lady going to give birth too.

After I entered the labor room, I laid on the bed and I can feel the contraction getting stronger and stronger. I keep on praying to God, “please help me, please don’t let me suffer so long, please let the baby come out as soon as possible.”

I got my hubby accompany me in the labor room to give me support.

On and on, the midwife came to check the heart beat of the baby. After 3 hours, she came to check me again and she said I’m ready to push out the baby now. But then, the other lady at the next room also ready at the same time. So the midwife and gynea walk here and there to look after both of us. However, my contractions suddenly stop. If no contraction, I will not able to push out the baby. So I just relax and wait for the contraction to come again. I can hear clearly that the lady at next room shout very loud and finally her baby girl is born. I was so happy for her when I hear the baby cry.

After that, the gynea came to me and helps me to deliver the baby. Because of the baby’s head is not in the right position, the gynea decided to help me by using vacuum. Finally, at 12:55p.m., my baby came to this world. I was relieved when I hear my baby cry. Thank God that giving birth is actually not so pain as what I imagine.

After cleaning the baby, the nurse sent him to the baby room. Of course his father took this opportunity to snap some pictures of our new born baby.

The baby was placed in the baby room together with his “girl friend”. I don’t have chance to carry him until I went in to breast feed him.

This is the greatest achievement in my life.

My Testimony

Back to year 2006, Edmund and I get married and we plan to have baby two years later. However, in the same year, God has blessed our family a precious Christmas present. I found that I was pregnant on Christmas day, so I went to see Gynea the next day for check up.
Besides confirmed the good news to me, the Gynea told me a bad news that there is a 6cm cyst on my left ovary. According to the Gynea, I was so lucky because it’s normally difficult to conceive under this condition and pregnant can actually helps to stop the cyst from growing bigger. Therefore, both of us were thankful for the baby even though it was not under our plan.

Thank God for His blessing and protection during my pregnancy. By the grace of God, I can eat well, sleep well, no vomit, not getting tired easily and can work like normal. During that period, we always pray for our baby and also pray for healing.

When come to the final stage where I have to choose in between natural birth or caesarean birth, I was so struggled because if I choose caesarean birth, the cyst can be removed at the same time, but how if God has answered my prayer? So I seek for the Gynea’s advice, I asked him, “if there any possibility that the cyst will disappear after I give birth?” He answered, very unlikely because the cyst is considered big and he can’t scan for me at the moment since my tummy is big and the baby inside has blocked the view. After seeking advice from friends and family members too, I finally decided to choose natural birth by faith.

On 23rd August 2007, after 3 hours of labour pain, my son Ezra is born. We thank God for this healthy baby and smooth delivery.

After 3 months, I went back to see gynea for check up. Praise the Lord! My cyst was disappeared! Thank God for healing me and I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who has ever pray for me.

In conclusion, God will always have some greater plan in our lives. Therefore, what we have to do is just commit our lives to Him. Let’s give all the glory to our God!
